June 2002 edited November -1. I bought a chi-com SKS about 5 yrs. ago for $180.00, it came with an x-tra trigger group, a bayonette and web-sling. It is a post-ban,threaded and pinned barrel- chrome lined, in like new condition/ wooden issue stock w/ cleaning kit and colored after market front sightposts (3).In this category, SKS overshadows the Mini14 with its superior damage per hit. The SKS uses 7.62mm ammunition, whereas Mini14 uses 5.56mm. In PUBG Mobile, Mini14 has a base damage of 46 hit points, and SKS deals 53 hitpoints per shot. IMO for the collector the Russian Tula's are the most sought after SKS's with next being the factory 26's, but the rarest SKS rifles are the North Koreans and the Vietnamese ones.The SKS is a semi-automatic rifle with a ten round capacity, and this combined with its relatively short length means that it can be used for self-defense.
