You need to blow out your cable liner, while your doing this make sure your contact tip is clean and unobstructed. Also make sure that your drive roll tension is not to much, enough to move the wire but not enough to push it when you have the wire held at the gun.Cleanliness in a wirefeed insures problem free usability. Hey Guys! I have a Lincoln SP-125 Plus (mig) that's worked without fail for years. This morning I plugged it in and squeezed the trigger and the unit violently hummed and rattled. It could possibly be that you liner is kinked from being coiled too tightly. Another thing to try first is when you are welding is keep the cable to the gun straight as possible. Higher guage wire doesn't travel around curves well as lighter gauge. A really cheap fix is to replace the contact tip.I had two mm130 one was a 130 xp.
